An evening of Music with Ian Pace

On Tuesday evening, I attended Ian Pace’s superb piano recital at City St George’s, University of London.

The highlight for me was Isaac Albéniz’s *Iberia*, a collection of twelve piano pieces inspired by the landscapes, people and traditions of Spain. The music is richly coloured and atmospheric, filled with echoes of flamenco, dance rhythms, street scenes and distant celebrations.

Ian Pace brought these pieces so vividly to life. His playing was both technically extraordinary and deeply expressive, allowing me to imagine the festivals, courtyards and sunlit landscapes of Spain through Albéniz’s remarkable music. It was a magnificent performance and a truly memorable evening.

I am back in the studio reflecting and channeling the inspiration into my next piece.

A ver cómo me va... ¡deséenme suerte!
